Vegetarian Desserts Continued

Try these simply delicious vegetarian desserts. These treats only have a few ingredients and are easy to prepare.

Chocolate Coconut Delight

Toast a bagel or English muffin until golden-brown.

Spread Nutella or chocolate frosting on each half of the bagel or English muffin. Sprinkle several tablespoons of shredded coconut on top.

Warm Cinnamon Apples over Ice Cream

Chop up one or two apples, any type is fine. Mix with a tablespoon of cinnamon and a dash of brown sugar.

Heat in microwave on high for about one minute.

Do a quick taste taste. Is the cinnamon flavor to strong? Is it just not sweet enough? Add more brown sugar.

Can you hardly taste the cinnamon? Add more of it.

If it is not quite warm enough, stick it back in the microwave for another 30 seconds.

Pour apples over a scoop of vanilla ice cream or non-dairy substitute for ice cream. Serve immediately.

Classic Milkshake

Combine a cup of your favorite flavor of ice cream and 3/4 cup of milk (or non-dairy substitutes for both) in a blender.

Blend at a low speed until it has reached your desired consistency.

Add more milk, if needed, for a creamier shake. Use more ice cream, if needed, for a thicker milkshake.

Pour finished shake into a tall glass. Top with whipped cream and a fresh cherry, optional.
